📢 JKPSC Lecturer Exam Postponed for English & Political Science
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has officially postponed the written examination for Lecturer (10+2) in English and Political Science, which was earlier scheduled on 28th September 2025. As per the latest notice dated 18th September 2025, the exams for these two subjects will now be held on 9th November 2025 (Sunday) in two sessions. ✅ Candidates should note that this postponement applies only to English and Political Science. The schedule for all other subjects remains unchanged, and those exams will be conducted as per the earlier timetable.
Updated Schedule of JKPSC 10+2 Lecturer Exam
JKPSC did a minor change in the schedule of the exam. In the earlier notification, which was released in May 2025, JKPSC had notified 15th September as the exam date, but now JKPSC has decided to conduct the exam on several dates and days, owing to the large number of candidates appearing for these exams. Moreover there is a Date change for the English and Economics Paper.

Applicants are advised to appear for their Exams and said dates as per the venue given in the Admit Card only.
JKPSC 10+2 Lecturer (Scheme of Selection)
On 8th August, 2025, JKPSC has also released an Important Notification regarding the Scheme of Selection.
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notice regarding the selection process for Lecturer posts in the School Education Department. The written examination will be conducted as per the J&K PSC Rules, 2021 and Examination Rules, 2022. The exam will be of two hours duration, comprising 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each wrong answer will carry a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

When Admit Cards will be released ?
It is too early to talk about the JKPSC 10+2 Lecturer Admit Cards.
It is will take another 10 Days, for JKPSC to release a Notification on Admit Cards.
Generally, for any JKPSC Exam, Admit cards are released at least 10 days before the exam and based on this schedule, we can expect that Roll No.s cum Admit Cards will be released in the 3rd week of Sept, 2025. Once there is any Update regarding the Admit cards we will update the same on this page.
