JKSSB has announced the Bumper Recruitment for Para-Medics in the Health and Medical Education Department of J&K. Various posts like Female MPHW, Staff Nurse, Extension Educator, etc, have been advertised in large numbers.

The Health Department of Jammu and Kashmir has advertised vacancies for various posts through JKSSB Advt. No. 7 of 2025.

The Table given below lists the various Posts along with the number of vacancies and the Required Qualification. Applicants willing to apply for any of these posts must go through the table given below only after full filling the Prescribed Qualification.

Other Eligibility Conditions

Applicants willing to apply for any of these posts must fullfill the above-mentioned prescribed Educational Qualifications and In addition to this a few other eligibility conditions given below.

  1. Domicle: Applicant should be a Domicile of Jammu and Kashmir.
  2. Age-Limit: Applicants should have attained the age of 18 years and the maximum age should not exceed 40 years. However, there is age -relaxation in the Upper Age-Limit as per the criteria below.
    • For SC/ST/OBC/RBA/EWS: 43 years
    • For Physically Challenged: 42 years
    • For Ex-Serviceman: 48 years

Selection Process.

The selection for all posts will be based on a competitive process involving a written examination.

  • Written/OMR Examination: The examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The questions will be set in the English language only. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer, with a deduction of one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question.
  • Syllabus: The syllabus for the examination will be notified separately and made available on the official JKSSB website.
  • Driving Test (Only for Driver Post): For posts requiring a valid HGV/PSV driving license (e.g., Driver), candidates must first qualify a driving test to be eligible to appear for the written examination

Candidates should apply well before the closing date to avoid technical issues.

Application Fee

  • General Candidates: Rs. 600/-.
  • SC, ST-1, ST-2, EWS, and PwBD Categories: Rs. 500/-.
  • The fee must be paid online via Net Banking, Credit, or Debit cards. Applications without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected
