JKSSB Junior Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2025
If you are willing to apply for Junior Assistant posts by JKSSB, then you should meet the below mentioned eligibility conditions.
- Domicile: You must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any stream from a recognized university.
- Age Limit (Expected): Applicants willing to apply for JKSSB Junior Assistant Recruitment, must meet the below mentioned conditions of age.
- OM/General: 18 – 40 years
- SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/EWS: up to 43 years
- Ex-Servicemen: up to 48 years
- Typing Speed: At least 35 words per minute in English on a computer with 90% accuracy. The speed test will be taken by JKSSB at least 2 to 3 months before the written exam. Only those candidates who qualify the speed test shall proceed to the next stage.

Stage-1 (Typing Test-20 Marks)
All those candidates who fill for JKSSB Jr. Assistant form, will have to appear for the Typing test and it is a must to Qualify the Typing test to proceed to next stage
- Format: Type an English passage in 10 mins.
- Speed Needed: 35+ WPM (Words Per Minute) with 90% accuracy.
